Job Summary
This role involves managing OEM Automotive accounts, specifically focusing on Powertrain products. The Account Manager will act as a direct interface with the Target Manager in Europe, aligning regional and global objectives. Key responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities, conducting investigations into innovations and new products, leading the acquisition process for new projects, and managing contracts throughout the product lifecycle. The role also involves overseeing project development, preparing for new product launches, and managing a small team.
Must Have
- Manage OEM Automotive accounts, focusing on Powertrain products.
- Act as a direct interface with the Target Manager in Europe.
- Identify new business opportunities and conduct pre-selling investigations.
- Lead the acquisition process for new projects.
- Manage contracts throughout the product lifecycle (life series and end of life).
- Manage claim management with clients.
- Manage a team (assistant and intern).
- Degree in Engineering (preferred), Economics, or Business Administration.
- Fluent English.
- Experience in customer service (Sales, Project, Quality, Product, Logistics Manager).
- Experience in the automotive sector.
- Ability to lead improvement and change projects.
- Experience with team management.
Good to Have
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, and Power BI.
- Ability to manage contracts and methodically track sales/project evolution.
- Strong negotiation skills (internal and external).
- Ability to analyze scenarios and propose solutions.
- Good interpersonal communication and proactive cooperation.
- Capacity to perform financial calculations.

Job Description
- Management of the OEM Automotive account, with a focus on Powertrain Products;
- Act as a direct interface with the Target Manager in Europe, aligning regional and global goals and objectives;
- Identify business opportunities;
- Conduct investigations into innovations and new products according to customer demand (pre-selling);
- Lead the acquisition process for new projects;
- Hand over new business to Project Management teams;
- Monitor the development of application projects at the client;
- Preparation for SOP of new products (safe launch);
- Manage life series contracts with OE clients;
- Perform commercial interface with aftermarket teams;
- Manage end-of-life for products (EOP) and contract cancellations;
- Manage claim management with the client.
- Team management (assistant and intern)
Qualifications
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Degree in Engineering (preferred) / Economics or Business Administration;
- Fluent English;
- Experience in customer service, either in Sales or other activities (Project Manager, Quality, Product Manager, Logistics);
- Experience in the automotive sector;
- Ability to lead improvement and change projects;
- Experience with team management.
Required Qualifications:
- Microsoft Office Suite;
- SAP;
- Power BI;
- Ability to manage contracts, methodical organization to monitor sales and project evolution;
- Negotiation skills (external with clients, and internal with stakeholders);
- Ability to analyze scenarios and propose solutions;
- Good interpersonal communication, Proactivity in cooperation with peers;
- Ability to perform financial calculations;
Important:
- Position requires availability for regular travel;
- For Bosch employees: Must be at SLR level or be part of the TPR program.
