Primary Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain production infrastructure within the AWS ecosystem.
Develop and manage CI/CD workflows using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy.
Deploy and maintain serverless functions using AWS Lambda.
Administer and optimize Aurora PostgreSQL databases for high performance and reliability.
Implement and oversee monitoring and logging practices using tools like Datadog and AWS CloudWatch.
Collaborate with teams for system integration, ensuring robustness and scalability of infrastructure.
Lead problem-solving efforts and address complex technical challenges.
Mentor junior team members and foster a collaborative engineering culture.
Stay informed about the latest developments in cloud technologies and DevOps practices.
Required Technical Skills:
Extensive experience with AWS services, especially CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, Lambda, and Aurora PostgreSQL.
Proficiency in both Windows and Linux operating systems.
Strong skills in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.).
In-depth knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation.
Solid understanding of networking, security in cloud environments, and database management.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Datadog and AWS CloudWatch.
Professional Experience:
At least 5 years of experience in platform engineering, with a significant portion dedicated to managing production infrastructure in AWS.
Proven track record in deploying and managing large-scale infrastructure in a production environment.
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Soft Skills:
Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and team collaboration abilities.
Leadership and mentorship skills, with a focus on team development.
Capacity to work in high-pressure situations and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate or Professional level.
Experience with agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
