Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated, talented, and passionate software developer to join our team and play a key role in building the next-generation game backend services platform. You will collaborate with clients and the infrastructure team to enhance and develop new services for our online gaming platform. As part of a cross-functional agile development team, you will create innovative enterprise-level technology solutions using state-of-the-art cloud technologies that handle over 10 billion requests daily from more than 20 million active players across over 100 games. Your responsibilities will include the development, deployment, support, and maintenance of services integral to Gameloft’s online gaming infrastructure, such as multiplayer services, leaderboards, authentication, and social networks. You will design and develop distributed, scalable, resilient, and highly available services and systems with a focus on quality, security, and cost efficiency, participating in all product development and delivery stages, researching and prototyping new technologies, and staying updated with industry trends.

We are looking for a motivated online services software developer that will work alongside our clients and the infrastructure team to improve and develop new services for our online gaming platform product.

You will be a part of a cross-functional agile development team creating innovative enterprise-level technology solutions. You will be working with state-of-the-art cloud technologies that manage over 10 billion requests per day from over 20 million active players across over 100 games.

You will be part of development, deployment, support and maintenance of services that support Gameloft’s online gaming infrastructure: multiplayer services, leaderboards, authentication, social networks and many more.

What you will do:

Design and develop distributed, scalable, resilient, highly available services and systems with a focus on quality, security and cost efficiency
Be involved in all the product development and delivery stages
Research and prototype on various technologies useful for the project
Keep in touch with the latest trends in the industry
