Job Description
The Billing Analyst will collaborate with the billing team to define their needs and establish an analytics strategy. This role involves prioritizing tasks based on business value and impact, balancing urgent requests with long-term goals. Responsibilities include building and maintaining dashboards, reports, and key metrics to support data-driven decisions. The analyst will design, execute, and analyze A/B tests to validate hypotheses, measure the impact of billing changes, and drive continuous improvement. Ensuring data quality, uncovering insights, and providing actionable recommendations to enhance performance are key aspects of this position.
Must have:
- 2+ years of experience in a similar analytics role
- Solid understanding of billing principles and payment systems
- Advanced SQL proficiency for querying large datasets
- Experience with BI tools like Tableau or Power BI
- Ability to communicate insights effectively
Good to have:
- Python skills for data manipulation and analysis
- Solid understanding of statistics
- Experience with subscription monetization products

Nice to have
- Python skills for data manipulation and analysis (pandas, data visualization, statistics)
- Solid understanding of statistics, including experiment design, statistical tests, correlation analysis, and segmentation
- Experience with subscription monetization products, including understanding key metrics, user retention, churn analysis, and revenue optimization strategies
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a similar analytics role
- Solid understanding of billing principles and payment systems, or a proven ability to quickly master new, complex domains
- Advanced SQL proficiency for querying and analyzing large datasets
- Experience with BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Ability to communicate insights effectively by presenting analysis results in a clear and compelling manner
