Position Details:
Title: Middle School Boys Basketball Coach - 2 positions available
Placement (location): White Mountain Middle School
Supervisor: Athletic Director/ other designee
Contract Days: Per the District agreement
Salary Range: Per District agreement - $1,816 stipend
Key Emphasis for a Middle School Head Coach:
Build a successful 6-8 Boys Basketball program and oversee all facets of the program, including the offseason.
Requirements:
1. NFHS Certification
2. First Aid Card (CPR and AED trained)
3. District fingerprinting /Criminal Check
4. Completion of all OSAA Certifications
5. Completion of ODE Steroid Test
6. Completion of all School District paperwork
7. Completion of Safe Schools training
General Expectations:
Having a working knowledge of the game of Boys Basketball will allow growth for the student-athlete and the overall program for EPSD9. Applicants must demonstrate, model, and teach a strong work ethic, provide academic support, be a team and individual character builder, demonstrate organization skills in practice planning, and communicate effectively with players, coaches, parents, and school administration. Successful applicants must build and implement program standards for all levels, including feeder programs.
