The Brand Manager – EPIQ will be responsible for creating memorable experiences that strengthen the EPIQ brand. This includes planning and executing high-impact events, managing brand activations in theatres, and developing merchandise strategies that build awareness and engagement. The role requires creativity, strong project management skills, and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders including theatre partners, agencies, and production vendors.
Must have:
  • Plan, manage, and execute events such as theatre launches, fan screenings, premieres, and special previews.
  • Develop and implement brand activations in theatres.
  • Coordinate with exhibitors, creative agencies, and vendors.
  • Track performance and ROI of activations.
  • Develop EPIQ-branded merchandise.
  • Oversee the design, production, and distribution process of merchandise.
  • Explore opportunities for co-branded or limited-edition merchandise.
  • Ensure merchandise aligns with EPIQ’s premium brand positioning.
  • 5-7 years of experience in event management, mall activations, brand activations, or merchandise strategy.
  • Strong project management and execution skills.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with creative agencies, vendors, and external partners.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and design.
  • Passion for cinema, entertainment, or experiential marketing.
Good to have:
  • Experience in executing large-scale brand activations or events for consumer, lifestyle, or entertainment brands.
  • Prior exposure to merchandise planning, design, and production.

The role requires creativity, strong project management skills, and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders including theatre partners, agencies, and production vendors.

Key Responsibilities

Event Planning and Brand Activations

  • Plan, manage, and execute events such as EPIQ theatre launches, fan screenings, premieres, and special previews.
  • Develop and implement brand activations in theatres that drive audience engagement and create buzz around the EPIQ experience.
  • Coordinate with exhibitors, creative agencies, and vendors to ensure smooth delivery of events and activations.
  • Track performance and ROI of activations, providing insights for continuous improvement.

Merchandise Strategy and Execution

  • Develop EPIQ-branded merchandise to support theatre launches, major movie releases, and promotional campaigns.
  • Oversee the design, production, and distribution process in collaboration with creative and production partners.
  • Explore opportunities for co-branded or limited-edition merchandise in partnership with studios and large consumer brands.
  • Ensure merchandise aligns with EPIQ’s premium brand positioning and enhances brand visibility.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • 5–7 years of experience in event management, mall activations, brand activations, or merchandise strategy.
  • Strong project management and execution skills with experience managing multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with creative agencies, vendors, and external partners.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and design.
  • Passion for cinema, entertainment, or experiential marketing.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in executing large-scale brand activations or events for consumer, lifestyle, or entertainment brands.
  • Prior exposure to merchandise planning, design, and production.
  • Familiarity with entertainment marketing, media, or cinema exhibition is a plus.

Work Environment

This role involves working closely with marketing, creative, and exhibition teams. Travel to EPIQ theatre sites and partner events will be required.
