Summary: As a Business Architect, you will define opportunities to create tangible business value for the client by leading current state assessments, identifying high-level customer requirements, and developing business solutions and structures to achieve the vision. You will also develop a business case to realize these opportunities. Roles & Responsibilities: 1. Act as a liaison between business users and technology teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to Trade Finance. 2. Work closely with product owners, operations teams, and IT to define functional specifications and solution designs. 3. Conduct gap analysis and process mapping of existing Trade Finance workflows (e.g., LC, BG, collections, forfeiting, supply chain finance). 4. Translate business requirements into system functionality and interface designs. 5. Support development and QA teams in clarifying requirements and resolving issues during the software development lifecycle. 6. Participate in system testing, UAT coordination, and defect triage. 7. Collaborate with technology teams to ensure proper data flow, integrations, and reporting for trade finance processes. 8. Provide SME input on industry regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices in Trade Finance. 9. Support rollout activities including training, documentation, and post-go-live support. Professional & Technical Skills: 1. 4+ years of experience in a techno-functional BA role, with significant exposure to Trade Finance domain. 2. Strong understanding of trade finance products (LC, SBLC, Guarantees, Open Account, Supply Chain Finance, etc.). 3. Familiarity with Trade Finance platforms such as Trade 360 or equivalent. 4. Hands-on experience working with APIs, interface specifications, and data mapping. 5. Proficient in writing BRDs, FRDs, use cases, and user stories. 6. Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall environments. 7. Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 7.5 years of experience in Trade Finance. - This position is based at our Chennai office. - A 15 years full-time education is required.
