What the Role Entails
Embark on an exciting journey with Tencent Cloud International as a Business Development Intern who is expected to join the sales trainee program based in Dubai after graduation. This role offers you the opportunity to develop expertise in Go-To-Market strategies, build key business relationships, and lay a strong career foundation in the fast-growing public cloud industry. You will receive professional trainings from mentors and fellows and gain hands-on experience in the headquarter in China for the first 6 months or before your graduation, whichever longer. You will grow to play a pivotal role in identifying opportunities and driving success in the MENA cloud market. Proficiency in English and Chinese is essential, and command of Arabic language and living/study experience in the Arabic world will be a plus.
- Account Management Support: Assist senior sales team members in managing customer accounts, including contract preparation, negotiation, and handling administrative tasks.
- Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, offering guidance and support to ensure satisfaction and foster long-term partnerships.
- Lead Generation: Leverage networking and prospecting skills to identify potential clients, generating leads and uncovering new sales opportunities aligned with Tencent Cloud’s business goals.
- Sales Strategy and Execution: Collaborate with the Business Contracts Manager to negotiate contracts and execute strategic account plans. Contribute to sales forecasting and revenue growth.
- Product Expertise: Develop an in-depth understanding of Tencent Cloud’s product offerings to craft tailored service solutions. Work closely with the Solutions Engineer team to address customer needs effectively.
- Market Insights: Analyze industry trends and customer data to inform sales strategies and provide recommendations for improving market competitiveness.
Who We Look For
- Final-year undergraduates/graduate students in Computer Science/Business/Marketing/International Trade or its relevant majors.
- Strong interest in Sales, Business Development, and Account Management within the IT, tech and cloud services industry. Prior experience in cloud or software sales internships is a plus.
- Proficiency in English and Chinese Mandarin is required. Arabic language or living/study experience in the Arabic countries will be advantageous.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills. Bright and adaptable; passionate and entrepreneurial.
- Acceptance of challenges and job location in Dubai after turning into full-time sales trainee.
