Job Summary
The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) acts as the main link between business stakeholders and technology teams. This role involves analyzing complex business problems, designing system solutions, and ensuring successful implementation of technology initiatives aligned with strategic goals. The BSA manages requirements across projects, ensuring best practices in analysis, documentation, and solution delivery, and leads end-to-end analysis to define functional and technical specifications.
Must Have
- Lead end-to-end analysis of business processes, system capabilities, and user needs to define functional and technical specifications.
- Translate business objectives into actionable user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical requirements.
- Identify system gaps and recommend enhancements through feasibility studies, cost-benefit analyses, and risk assessments.
- Act as the primary liaison between business units, Product Management Developers, and QA teams.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and sprint planning sessions to elicit, validate and refine requirements.
- Ensure solutions meet standards for security, compliance, and data governance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in business systems analysis, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior role.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional teams on complex, enterprise-level projects.
- Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Strong background in systems integration, data analysis, and process mapping.
- Working knowledge of API integrations, cloud platforms, and workflow automation.
- Familiarity with both Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies.
Good to Have
- Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Experience working with LMS platforms.
- Experience using project management and visualization tools such as ClickUp and Visio.

This role is responsible for analyzing complex business problems, designing system solutions, and ensuring the successful implementation of technology initiatives that align with our client’s strategic goals. The BSA manages requirements across multiple projects and ensures best practices in analysis, documentation, and solution delivery.
Essential Functions:
- Lead end-to-end analysis of business processes, system capabilities, and user needs to define functional and technical specifications.
