Job Description
Synergy Sports is looking for Live Stream Camera Operators to capture video and live stream youth basketball games. Responsibilities include setting up and breaking down equipment, capturing all games on a court, managing live streams, assisting with video file transfers, and high-volume video capture. Applicants must possess strong communication skills, be detail-oriented, dependable, and willing to work weekends. They should also be able to lift approximately 35 pounds and stand for long periods. Familiarity with camera and streaming equipment is preferred. Training will be provided. The role involves capturing high-quality video of basketball games and managing the live streaming process. The position requires a commitment to capturing all games and events at the assigned venue.
Good To Have:
- Previous experience with sports video capture/live streaming.
- Knowledge & understanding of the sport of basketball.
- Transportation to/from Gymnasium.
Must Have:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Be detail oriented.
- Be dependable and reliable.
- Willingness to work weekends.
- Ability to lift ~35 pounds.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Familiarity with camera/streaming equipment (tripods, cameras, laptops, cabling, etc.)
- Must be 18 years or older
OVERVIEW:
Synergy Sports is in search of Live Stream Camera Operators to assist with video capture and live streaming of youth basketball games and events in your area!
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Setup and break down of camera/streaming equipment for an assigned court or venue. (Synergy Sports will provide all equipment & training)
- Video capture of all games on one court for the duration of the event.
- Live stream management of all games on one court for the duration of the event.
- Assist the Production Lead with video file transfers and management.
- High volume video capture for events with back-to-back games.
- Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail oriented.
- Dependable and reliable.
- Willingness to work weekends.
- Ability to lift ~35 pounds.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Familiarity with camera/streaming equipment (tripods, cameras, laptops, cabling, etc.)
- 18 years or older
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience with sports video capture/live streaming.
- Knowledge & understanding of the sport of basketball.
- Transportation to/from Gymnasium.
***Live Stream Camera Operators are compensated $25 per game. Approximately 8-10 games per day; however, the number of games will vary by location and event. Hours will be approximately 8:00am - 8:00pm but subject to change.
**Hired camera operators will receive remote training prior to the event and on-site training from the Production Lead.
