Sports Reporter (m/f/d)

What you will move with us:

• You develop strong stories from information from your own research and all reporters and write them in a way that suits us.
• You accompany SC Magdeburg and 1. FC Magdeburg with passion and journalistic instinct.
• You conduct interviews, write portraits and reports that create closeness, and report on home and away games.
• You maintain our contacts and build your network in the Magdeburg sports clubs.
• You develop new ideas for digital and social formats together in a team.
• You actively contribute our topics to editorial conferences and thus strengthen our team culture.

What you bring:

• You have completed a traineeship or a degree in journalism, media, or communication.
• You have experience in sports journalism – preferably with a focus on handball or football.
• You enjoy being on-site for home and away games.
• You have gained initial experience in the editorial handling of AI or bring openness and interest in AI topics.
• You are open to flexible shift work as well as working on Sundays and public holidays.
• You communicate fluently in German and are proficient in editorial systems and Microsoft 365.
