Must Have

Our client is seeking an experienced Clinical Application Analyst IV (RN) for a long-term contract opportunity. The Clinical Application Analyst IV (RN) serves as a senior-level functional and operational expert supporting company’s enterprise scheduling systems, including Clairvia and other UKG-based scheduling tools. This role ensures scheduling continuity across 18 hospitals and 400 departments, maintaining best practices and operational stability during ongoing system transitions. The Analyst partners closely with operational leadership, end users, and IT teams to support, optimize, and sustain clinical scheduling workflows that align with organizational standards and staffing models.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead daily operational and system support for scheduling applications (Clairvia and related tools), ensuring consistent functionality and adherence to established scheduling best practices.
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative departments to resolve scheduling issues, maintain configuration accuracy, and uphold service levels across all facilities.
  • Provide hands-on troubleshooting and testing support for system updates, enhancements, and integrations, escalating issues appropriately through defined channels.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to align scheduling workflows with payroll, timekeeping, and HR processes, particularly during UKG transition activities.
  • Participate in project design, build, and optimization for business and clinical applications related to scheduling, timekeeping, and resource planning.
  • Support change management and training efforts by assisting staff and leaders in understanding system functionality, best practices, and process updates.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of configuration changes, testing results, and issue resolutions.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for scheduling data and reporting, ensuring compliance with enterprise standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 1+ years of healthcare scheduling operations experience; experience supporting or managing Clairvia or UKG scheduling systems strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage scheduling for large healthcare environments (multi-hospital, multi-department scope).
  • Working knowledge of standard business and clinical applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and related scheduling tools.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; able to adapt tone and approach to various audiences from frontline users to senior leadership.
  • Proven ability to remain composed under pressure, escalate appropriately, and maintain organizational stability during system transitions.
  • Independent, resourceful, and detail-oriented with a willingness to learn and uphold established practices.
  • Experience in Epic or EHR integration projects preferred but not required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field required; active RN license preferred.
