Job Summary

Join Thales' Cloud Security Practice as a Cloud Engineering Consultant. This hands-on role involves delivering secure cloud environments across Azure, AWS, and GCP. You will execute cloud security assessments, greenfield builds, environment uplifts, and design validation, transforming architecture into practical, scalable, and secure solutions. The role requires strong technical delivery and clear stakeholder communication to enhance security posture.

Must Have

  • Implement IAM, encryption, logging, monitoring, and cloud-native security services.
  • Build secure landing zones and validate architecture through secure-by-design delivery.
  • Drive automation using IaC (Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation).
  • Experience delivering cloud-native security services in AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Hands-on capability with IAM, KMS, monitoring, and cloud security tooling.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with technical and business teams.

Good to Have

  • Cloud security certifications.
  • Experience working in agile environments with Jira/Confluence/ServiceNow.
  • Experience in cloud engineering or security in regulated sectors.

YOUR ROLE

Join our Cloud Security Practice in a hands-on engineering role delivering secure cloud environments across Azure, AWS, and GCP. You’ll execute cloud security assessments, greenfield builds, environment uplifts, and design validation, turning architecture into practical, scalable, secure solutions.

This role blends strong technical delivery with clear stakeholder communication to achieve measurable improvements in security posture.

What you’ll do

  • Implement IAM, encryption, logging, monitoring, and cloud-native security services
  • Build secure landing zones and validate architecture through secure-by-design delivery
  • Drive automation using IaC (Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation)
  • Work in agile teams to execute engineering tasks and uplift client environments
  • Engage stakeholders with clear recommendations and progress updates
  • Contribute to engineering patterns and mentor junior team members

What You’ll Bring:

  • Experience delivering cloud-native security services in AWS, GCP, or Azure
  • Hands-on capability with IAM, KMS, monitoring, and cloud security tooling (e.g., Wiz, Prisma, Tenable)
  • Cloud security certifications highly regarded
  • Experience working in agile environments with Jira/Confluence/ServiceNow
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and business teams
  • Experience in cloud engineering or security, ideally in regulated sectors
