Job Summary

This role is for a Customer Support Work Package Manager at Thales in Brest, France, focusing on the ATL2 Operational Condition Maintenance program for the French Navy. The manager will pilot support activities, ensure contractual requirements and performance, manage financial and calendar objectives, oversee purchasing, mitigate risks, and report activity to the Project Manager. The ideal candidate will have a Master's or engineering degree with confirmed experience in Work Package Management or Offer Management in an industrial environment, particularly in industrial aeronautical maintenance activities. Strong project management, resource planning, communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills are essential.

Must Have

  • Pilot support activities, daily monitoring to ensure contractual requirements and performance, with functional management of internal and external contributors.
  • Ensure financial and calendar objectives for the work package are met, contributing to overall program results.
  • Manage purchases according to defined process: purchase requests, invoice and supplier payment management.
  • Ensure risk control related to contract execution and achieve associated productivity gains.
  • Report activity to the OCEAN Project Manager, including performance indicators and appropriate communication.
  • Propose improvements for the program and identify new client needs.
  • Master's degree, engineering diploma, or equivalent
  • Confirmed experience as Work Package Manager or Offer Manager in an industrial environment
  • Experience in industrial aeronautical maintenance activities

Your daily life

The Brest site hosts our digital services activities as well as Thales' expertise in development, integration, and maintenance for maritime patrol and surveillance systems, electronic warfare, sonar systems, and airborne anti-submarine warfare, as well as our digital services activities.

Within the ATL2 Operational Condition Maintenance program team for the French Navy (OCEAN project), your main missions will be to:

  • Pilot the support activities for the scope, monitor daily to guarantee contractual requirements and performance, with functional management of internal and external contributors.
  • Guarantee the achievement of the financial and calendar objectives of the work package to contribute to the overall program results (Order Intake, Revenue, Adjusted Gross Margin).
  • Manage purchases according to the defined process: purchase requests, invoice management, and supplier payments.
  • Ensure control of risks related to contract execution and achieve associated productivity gains.
  • Provide activity reporting to the OCEAN Project Manager, with the implementation of performance indicators and adapted communication (dashboard).
  • Be proactive in identifying areas for program improvement and detecting new client needs.

Your profile
