Job Summary
As Teamleader Automation Maintenance, you are responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising the team of maintenance technicians who are responsible for the high-tech machinery and automated systems. You will organize periodic maintenance, manage the CMMS system, create work schedules, monitor spare parts, analyze maintenance results, and coordinate actions for acute electrical/mechanical malfunctions. You will also coach and develop team members and guide external companies.
Must Have
- Organize periodic maintenance of automated machines, cranes, and systems.
- Manage the maintenance software (CMMS) system.
- Create the team's work schedule based on the maintenance plan and priorities.
- Monitor spare parts inventory.
- Analyze preventive maintenance results and take appropriate actions.
- Coordinate actions for acute electrical/mechanical malfunctions and act as a central point of contact.
- Report on causes and solutions of malfunctions and take actions to prevent future problems.
- Consult with fellow team leaders or experts in the automation department.
- Coach, motivate, and develop employees.
- Guide external companies for maintenance assignments.
- Physical presence on the shop floor and active operational support.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field (automation, electromechanics) or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in a technical maintenance environment.
- Knowledge of automation systems, frequency controls, pneumatics, mechanics, electricity.
- Ability to read plans (e-plan, parts manuals).
- Extensive experience with industrial machines and installations.
- Proficient in planning and preparing maintenance assignments and drawing up maintenance plans.
- Strong leadership skills, able to manage employees appropriately.
- Strong problem-solving, stress-resistant, and flexible.
- Sense of responsibility and initiative.
- Very good knowledge of Dutch, fluent in French and English.
- High degree of flexibility regarding work schedule and team performance continuity (on-call duty).
- Willingness to work in a rotating shift system (early and late shifts).

Job Description
Your tasks and responsibilities
- You organize the periodic maintenance of the automated machines, cranes and systems and manage the maintenance software (CMMS) system.
- You draw up the work schedule for the team, based on the maintenance plan and priorities.
- You monitor the stock of spare parts so that the team can carry out the planned repairs.
- You analyze the results of the preventive maintenance on the machinery and take appropriate actions.
- You coordinate the necessary actions in the event of acute electrical/mechanical malfunctions, downtimes or problems and act as the central point of contact. Afterwards, you report on the cause and solutions of the malfunction and take the necessary actions to avoid future problems.
- You consult with your fellow team leaders or experts within the automation department.
- You coach, motivate and develop employees so that they optimally utilize their competencies and skills.
- You guide external companies with maintenance assignments.
- Physical presence on the shop floor is crucial; active participation and operational support are therefore an integral part of the job description.
Your profile
- You have a Bachelor's degree in a technical field (automation, electromechanics, ...), or equivalent by experience.
- You have at least 5 years of work experience in a technical maintenance environment.
- You have knowledge of automation systems, thorough knowledge of frequency controls, pneumatics, mechanics, electricity and can easily read a plan (e-plan, parts manuals).
- You have extensive experience in working on industrial machines and installations. You are proficient in planning and preparing maintenance assignments and drawing up a maintenance plan.
- You have strong leadership skills, you deal correctly with employees and manage them in an appropriate manner.
- You are strong in problem-solving, stress-resistant and flexible.
- You have a sense of responsibility and initiative.
- You have a very good knowledge of Dutch and can express yourself fluently in French and English.
- A high degree of flexibility is expected with regard to the work schedule and the continuity of team performance (on-call duty). The position requires commitment in a rotating system, consisting of alternating early and late shifts.
