Job Summary
Applied Materials is seeking a highly experienced Senior DevOps Expert to join a specialized team. This role involves building and maintaining core infrastructure for development, deployment, and production environments, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security. The expert will own and optimize platforms like artifact management, source control, CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps development, driving operational excellence and architecting Kubernetes-based solutions.
Must Have
- Design, implement, and maintain robust DevOps infrastructure and development for large-scale production environments.
- Drive operational excellence across CI/CD pipelines, artifact repositories, and source control systems.
- Configure and install Kubernetes clusters, ensuring best practices for scalability and security.
- Architect Kubernetes-based solutions and enable automatic service deployment across environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
- 10-15 years in DevOps/Software Development roles.
- Hands-on experience with Artifactory, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps, and major cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Proven track record in Agile environments.
- Deep expertise in Kubernetes (K8s) architecture, cluster configuration, and service orchestration.
- Strong Linux OS understanding and administration.
- Bash scripting – mandatory.
- Expertise in CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible), and containerization (Docker\container, Kubernetes, Helm Charts).
- Experience managing large-scale, high-availability systems.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Team player.
- Good English communication skill and presentation.

We are seeking a highly experienced DevOps Expert to join our specialized team responsible for building and maintaining the core infrastructure that powers development, deployment, and production environments. This role is critical to ensuring reliability, scalability, and security across our systems.
