Job Description

We are seeking a proactive Technical Cloud Operations/Managed Services Lead to oversee day-to-day operations of our Cloud MSP team and drive excellence in cloud architecture and service delivery. This role involves combining managerial and hands-on activities, ensuring service reliability, optimizing performance, and leading technical teams. The successful candidate will have autonomy to drive the team and service vision, while being accountable for high-quality service delivery to customers. They will also act as a mentor and coach, supporting the team hands-on.
Must Have:
  • Ensure the success of day-to-day MSP operations, including incident and change management
  • Proactively improve our MSP service on a global level
  • Manage team capacity, budget planning, and on-call rotations
  • Develop and maintain the MSP Service Quality Plan
  • Act as Product Owner, screening upcoming Cloud MSP trends and shaping the service vision and roadmap
  • Improve and maintain JIRA SDM workflows
  • Create and manage internal and external support documentation
  • Act on monitoring alerts using tools like Datadog
  • Make strategic decisions on cloud architecture and infrastructure
  • Drive automation and optimization across systems and processes
  • Monitor KPIs and overall service health
  • Generate reports for top management with actionable insights
  • Identify and manage risks and opportunities
  • Lead cross-functional technical teams and manage complex projects
  • ITIL Certification
  • Cloud certifications (at least one on AWS and Azure)
  • Deep expertise in cloud architecture and operations (AWS, Azure, etc.)
  • Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, Python
  • Solid understanding of DevSecOps principles and CI/CD tools
  • Experience with cloud security, networking, and cost optimization
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
  • Familiarity with scripting and automation
  • 5–10 years of experience in a similar role

Job Description

We are seeking a proactive Technical Cloud Operations/Managed Services Lead – who is not afraid to combine managerial and hands-on activities.

In your scope is to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Cloud Managed Service Provider (MSP) team and drive excellence in cloud architecture and service delivery. This role is pivotal in ensuring service reliability, optimizing performance, and leading technical teams toward continuous improvement.

You will be entrusted with plenty of autonomy to drive the team and the service vision but are equivalently accountability for delivering high quality services to our customers.

You will be exposed to administrational, financial and people domains but are also accountable for them.

For the team you act as mentor and coach and must therefore still be able to execute hands-on to support the team on a day-to-day base.

We are looking for a Technical Leader who wishes to carry the team and move ahead, not a manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the success of day-to-day MSP operations, including incident and change management
  • Proactively improve our MSP service on a global level
  • Manage team capacity, budget planning, and on-call rotations
  • Develop and maintain the MSP Service Quality Plan

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • ITIL Certification (mandatory)
  • Cloud certifications (at least one on AWS and Azure)
  • Deep expertise in cloud architecture and operations (AWS, Azure, etc.)
  • Strong hands-on experience with:
  • Kubernetes
  • Terraform
  • Ansible
  • Python
  • Solid understanding of DevSecOps principles and CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Gitlab)
  • Experience with cloud security, networking, and cost optimization
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
  • Familiarity with scripting and automation
  • 5–10 years of experience in a similar role
