Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
  • 5 years post-qualification experience

The Role:

Are you a dynamic and results-driven finance professional with a passion for collaborating with internal sales teams? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment, seeking an opportunity to drive financial strategies while partnering closely with sales to maximize business growth? If so, we have the perfect role for you!

We are looking for a Commercial Manager to join our team for a parental leave contract. As a key liaison between finance and our pharmacy sales division, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing financial performance and strategic decision-making.

About You:

You will have a thorough understanding of commercial business and the broader FMCH/FMCG environment within ANZ and global manufacturing and have the experience to partner cross functionally to understand and interpret different business areas. Have a high attention to detail and be able to navigate through complexities and remove obstacles to deliver on key projects. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the internal sales team to develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Analyze sales data and trends to provide insights that support decision-making processes and drive revenue growth.
  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting efforts in coordination with sales projections and market trends.
  • Evaluate pricing strategies, profitability, and cost optimization to maximize revenue and margins.
  • Develop financial models and performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of sales initiatives and investments.
  • Provide financial guidance and recommendations to the sales team, supporting them in achieving their targets.

Required skills and experience. 

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, (CA/CPA/CIMA) ideally 5y post qualification.
  • Proven experience in commercial finance 
  • Strong analytical, financial modelling and data analysis skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Strong ability to problem solve  
  • Proficiency in financial software and data analysis tools.
  • Experience within FMCG/FMCH industry
  • Strong stakeholder management- ability to navigate in a matrix organisation.
