Tasks - What awaits you with us:
- Business partner for large global projects (e.g., hyperscaler projects) as an advisor and contact person for all commercial challenges.
- Conduct project reviews and create progress reports to keep stakeholders informed.
- Continuously identify, track, and manage commercial risks and opportunities together with the project team and develop countermeasures as well as update risk management plans based on project progress.
- Currency risk management: Implement and actively manage strategies for hedging currency risks related to the projects.
- Optimization of orders in terms of results, order changes, and receivables management.
- Participation in the creation of framework agreements and sales agreements with customers in collaboration with the project team.
- Cross-company collaboration with the project team, comprehensive commercial support for the project, e.g., regarding accounting and sales reporting, expected cost development, and cash flow.
- Documentation of all project meetings and continuous follow-up, regular preparation of project reports, and review of project costs to adhere to the budget.
- Responsible for compliance with project goals by actively monitoring the actual project results compared to the plan.
- Performance of annual and monthly closing activities.
- Participation in budget planning and forecasts.
- Further development and optimization of controlling systems.
Qualifications - What we wish for:
- Successfully completed studies in business administration, economics, business informatics, or industrial engineering.
- Excellent knowledge in project management and financial systems.
- Experience in leading remote project teams.
- High IT affinity with very good knowledge in MS Excel and SAP.
- Cross-functional mindset, interpersonal skills, and negotiation skills, coupled with strong analytical skills, a pronounced understanding of numbers, and an independent, structured way of working.
- Very good English skills in spoken and written word as well as a confident demeanor in an international work environment.
- Experience in fast-paced, global, matrix-organized industrial companies.
- Extensive experience in finance and controlling.
- Knowledge in the energy supply industry is an advantage.
- Low willingness to travel if required.
