Job Description

MY.GAMES is a leading European developer and publisher of games, uniting over 1 billion registered players. The company is seeking a Community Manager for South Korea to engage and grow its Korean-speaking community. This remote role involves managing social media, recruiting volunteers, creating content, handling conflicts, and analyzing user behavior. The ideal candidate will have C1+ Korean fluency, a deep understanding of South Korean culture, and experience with Naver, along with strong communication and organizational skills.
Must have:
  • Engage and connect with our Korean-speaking community on a daily basis
  • Grow and energize our social media channels (Naver and beyond)
  • Recruit, coordinate, and manage volunteer teams, including moderators
  • Write, translate, format, and edit large volumes of text and visual content for social media and in-game platforms
  • Come up with fresh content ideas, develop them, and bring them to life to boost engagement
  • Maintain a friendly, constructive atmosphere in all communities and handle conflicts promptly
  • Analyze user behavior, gather feedback, and prepare regular reports
  • Keep an eye on new social media tools, community trends, and global best practices — and implement them effectively
  • Korean fluency at C1+ level
  • Deep understanding of South Korea’s cultural, social, and historical context, plus awareness of popular trends
  • Hands-on experience with Naver and its features
  • Creativity, strong communication skills, resilience, multitasking ability, responsibility, and punctuality
  • Ability to write engaging, high-quality Korean texts
  • Knowledge of user motivation and engagement systems

  • Experience in the gaming industry, especially mobile strategy or collectible card games
  • Lived in South Korea for 1+ years
