Compositor

Afterz VFX Studio is seeking a mid-level Compositor with a blend of high-level technical skills and strong artistic sensibilities. The role involves working with Compositing and Visual Effects Supervisors to approach shots creatively and technically, integrating 2D, 3D, and live-action elements to achieve high-end visual effects film standards. The successful candidate will manage their workload, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively with production and leads.

Must Have

• Experience in completing cleanup tasks
• Ability to composite shots of simple to moderate difficulty
• In-depth knowledge of relevant software
• Minimum of 2+ years of progressively complex experience in production or feature film
• Work with the Compositing Supervisor and Visual Effects Supervisor to evaluate the creative and technical approach to assigned shots
• Take briefs and direction from Lead Compositors and VFX Supervisors to execute assigned shots
• Integrate 2D, 3D and live-action elements to high-end visual effects film standard
• Meet schedules and show deadlines
• Communicate clearly with Production and Leads regarding schedules and deadlines
• Take responsibility for workload, time management, and notes/feedback actions required by Supervisors
