Job Description
After VFX Studio is seeking a talented 3D Lighting Artist for a 3-month contract based in Kolkata, India. The role involves crafting captivating lighting setups for CG scenes, characters, and environments, collaborating with supervisors and other team members to achieve desired visual aesthetics. The artist will utilize industry-standard rendering software and techniques, maintain consistency with art direction, and meet project deadlines while upholding quality standards and artistic integrity.
Must Have:
- Craft captivating lighting setups for CG scenes, characters, and environments
- Collaborate closely with supervisors, compositors, and other team members to achieve the desired visual aesthetic
- Utilize industry-standard rendering software and techniques to achieve realistic lighting effects
- Maintain consistency with established art direction and project requirements
- Meet project deadlines while upholding quality standards and artistic integrity
- Proficiency in 3D rendering software such as Katana, Maya, Arnold, V-Ray, or RenderMan
- Strong understanding of lighting principles, colour theory, and composition
- Ability to work efficiently in a collaborative team environment
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow artistic direction
- A portfolio showcasing your lighting work and demonstrating your ability to enhance visual storytelling through lighting
