After VFX Studio in Kolkata is seeking a talented Matchmove Artist for a 3-month contract. The role involves tracking camera movement, recreating 3D motion in VFX software, and seamlessly integrating CG elements into live-action footage. The artist will collaborate with supervisors and team members, troubleshoot issues, and meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards for immersive visual experiences.

Must Have:

Track camera movement and recreate the camera’s 3D motion within the VFX software
Integrate CG elements into live-action footage with precision and accuracy
Collaborate closely with supervisors, compositors, and other team members to ensure seamless integration of CG elements
Troubleshoot and problem-solve to achieve the desired shot outcome
Meet project deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards
Proficiency in matchmoving software such as PFTrack, SynthEyes, or 3DEqualizer
Strong understanding of camera tracking techniques and principles
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
A portfolio showcasing your matchmove work and demonstrating your ability to integrate CG elements into live-action footage
