- Guide associates on system-level problem solving, debugging methodologies, and hardware-software integration.
- Provide direction on interface bring-up (I2C, SPI, UART, PCIe, USB, SDIO) and SoC validation workflows.
- Mentor engineers on working with Qualcomm or similar SoC toolchains, including build systems, logging tools, and diagnostic utilities.
Interview Readiness & Evaluation
- Conduct mock technical interviews simulating semiconductor industry expectations and provide actionable feedback.
- Coach associates on articulating technical concepts, debugging approaches, and communication clarity during interviews.
- Evaluate associates’ readiness through structured assessments and identify areas for improvement.
Capstone Projects & Hands-on Learning
- Define and supervise SoC-oriented capstone projects focusing on embedded firmware, connectivity, and peripheral validation.
- Guide associates on log analysis, debugging, and performance tuning using relevant tools (e.g., QXDM, QCAT, QFIL, QPST, QDSS) or equivalent.
- Ensure that each project delivers measurable skill growth and technical confidence.
Program Coordination & Reporting
- Collaborate with internal training and engineering teams to align mentoring objectives with project and client needs.
- Provide periodic progress dashboards, competency matrices, and readiness summaries for management and review.
