The Content Strategist will lead creative content development across the full member lifecycle for Zelis, focusing on SmartShopper®, a consumer-facing healthcare shopping and rewards platform. This role involves writing compelling, compliant content for various marketing channels like email, SMS, and landing pages, defining contact strategy, and supporting content for new Zelis offerings across commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid audiences. The strategist will collaborate with cross-functional teams, conduct A/B tests, and ensure content accuracy and brand consistency.

- Experience writing for commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid audiences.
- Knowledge of DAM tools like MarcomCentral, Bynder, Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma.
- Background in healthcare marketing, benefits communications, or price transparency.
- Direct experience coordinating permissions and compliance with client stakeholders.
Must Have:- Write high-impact, compliant copy for marketing campaigns across email, SMS, outbound phone, landing pages, toolkits, flyers, posters, and direct mail.
- Craft engaging outbound phone scripts and digital copy focused on member conversion and advocacy.
- Collaborate with creative and strategy cross-functional partners to select imagery and build assets.
- Conduct QA/QC to ensure accuracy and consistency across all content assets.
- Partner with Product, Marketing Ops, Analytics, and Salesforce teams to align messaging and ensure a cohesive brand experience.
- Define and iterate our contact strategy, optimizing cadence, channel, and content based on performance data.
- Create and execute A/B tests and direct-response campaigns, interpreting results to inform future strategy.
- Navigate client-specific content requirements related to permissions, branding, and compliance.
- Support content for new Zelis offerings, writing for commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid lines.
- Document and maintain content strategy resources such as tone/style guides, testing frameworks, and client guidelines.
- 5+ years in multi-channel content creation or marketing communications, with direct-response marketing expertise.
- Proven experience writing for email, SMS, phone scripts, landing pages, and print collateral.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience in A/B testing and campaign optimization.
- Excellent project management and collaboration skills across design, analytics, operations, and product stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, organized, and adept at working through ambiguity and strategic planning.
- Excellent written/verbal communication and strong attention to detail.
