Job Description
The Creative Engineer brings extensive experience in crafting HTML5/Video animations at a moderate level of complexity, showcasing proficiency in coding and a deep understanding of various vendors such as Sizmek, Flashtalking, and Google Studio. Their skillset also encompasses video editing.
They collaborate closely with a Principal Engineer to steer web development and video campaigns, consistently delivering visually captivating and high-quality motion graphics, animations, and video content.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining excellent communication and fostering strong relationships with partners and onshore peers.
- Adaptability to emerging technologies and trends.
- Following motion design guidelines derived from client-provided storyboards.
- Demonstrating the ability to work both independently and under the supervision of a Creative Lead.
- Possessing knowledge to oversee OLA processes and video editing.
- Collaborating effectively with local and remote teams, reporting project progress and status.
- Reporting to a Lead/Principal/Manager.
- Engaging in client meetings, offering ideas to enhance workflow efficiency.
- Possess a strong command of programming with a solid foundation in JavaScript and object-oriented programming.
- Handle high-priority tasks effectively. Report to the Principal Engineer to execute high-demand assignments.
- Demonstrate negotiation and mediation skills when working with clients to provide better guidance and assist in incorporating feedback.
- Independently resolve programming-related issues with minimal supervision.
- Offer knowledge transfer and mentorship to team members as needed.
- Contribute to the enhancement of the current workflow processes.
Qualifications
- Advanced experience in Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects. Premiere pro)
- Strong foundation in the fundamentals of animation with programming and software tools such as Adobe Animate.
- Video and sound editing skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with the team to ensure smooth workflow.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Detail-focused, organized, and a creative problem solver.
