Job Description
KRAFTON is dedicated to identifying and publishing games worldwide that offer a uniquely enjoyable experience, crafted by our globally recognized production studios known for their distinctive creativity. We continuously push the boundaries of gaming enjoyment by embracing new challenges and technologies, expanding our platforms and services to captivate an even larger fan base. The AI Companion Team develops AI Companions that interact with users, formulate strategies, and enable cooperation by applying LLM, SLM, and VLM within KRAFTON's internal games. Our goal is for AI agents to provide an immersive gameplay experience by becoming a team with players and working together in real-time game environments.
Good To Have:
Excellent research achievements, such as first-author publications or awards at prestigious conferences (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, ACL, NAACL)
Experience serving language models using vLLM, llama-cpp, SGLang, etc.
Experience using frameworks such as LLama Index, LangGraph
Experience with multimodal learning and inference
Excellent communication skills with other job functions (e.g., game planning, art, business)
Must Have:
Design innovative gameplay experiences using cutting-edge AI technologies such as LLM, SLM, VLM, and Human-AI Interaction.
Optimize the computational efficiency of various language/multimodal models that process text and visual inputs to respond to real-time interactions and large-scale concurrent access environments in gaming.
Collaborate with game designers, engineers, etc., to apply AI Companion to actual game projects and work together to improve player experience.
Establish a feedback loop for model improvement through user data and game log analysis and continuously improve.

Introducing the Missions We Will Undertake with Our Team
Design innovative gameplay experiences using the latest AI technologies such as LLM, SLM, VLM, and Human-AI Interaction.
Optimize the computational efficiency of various language/multimodal models that process text and visual inputs to respond to real-time interactions and large-scale concurrent access environments that occur in game environments.
Collaborate with game designers, engineers, etc., to apply AI Companion to actual game projects and perform joint work aimed at improving player experience.
Establish a feedback loop for model improvement through user data and game log analysis and continuously improve.
We Want to Grow with Someone Who Has These Experiences! (Required Qualifications)
Currently pursuing a master's or doctoral degree in artificial intelligence (AI), computer science, or related technical fields.
Experience with one or more projects involving LLM, SLM, or VLM.
Experience using Deep Learning frameworks such as PyTorch.
No disqualification for overseas business trips.
