For our team in Amsterdam, we are looking for a Design Manager (all genders). You will be responsible for the creative and technical development of 3D-elements and spatial setups in retail campaigns and events. This includes creating concepts, sketches, and renderings, as well as handling technical planning, material selection, prototyping, and technical drawings, all while adhering to budget and schedules. You will collaborate closely with colleagues from art direction, graphic design, project management, sourcing, internal and external production partners, and clients directly.
Must Have:- Responsible for creative and technical development of 3D-elements and spatial setups in retail campaigns and events.
- Create creative concepts, sketches, and renderings for spatial concepts.
- Handle technical planning, material selection, prototyping, and creation of technical drawings.
- Work closely with art direction, graphic design, project management, sourcing, production partners, and clients.
- Degree in (interior) architecture or design or equivalent training.
- At least 3 years professional experience in retail or shop window design.
- Deep understanding of technical production processes and 3D design.
- Quick grasp and good knowledge of material properties such as wood, cardboard or metal.
- Very structured, independent, and responsible work ethic.
- Passion for fashion, change, innovation, and technological trends.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Familiar with Rhino, Enscape, Keyshot, Adobe programs (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop), MS Office, and MAC applications (Keynote).
