Destruction Technician, Secure Shredding
Job Description
- Accurately sort, prepare, and destroy all customer materials delivered to the production facility using established procedures and maintaining strict security.
- Safely operate production machinery such as Forklift and skid steer.
- Adhere to all organizational standards for safety and security, and perform all tasks with the utmost regard for physical safety and material security.
- 1+ year of experience in shredding, recycling, warehouse operations, or a similar production environment.
- Current and valid Forklift and Skid Steer Operator certifications.
- Proven ability to safely operate machinery and perform physical tasks without assistance, including lifting heavy bags and pushing/pulling rolling carts and containers, and working comfortably in a non-climate controlled industrial environment.
- Competitive compensation of $23.80/hour
- Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm

Iron Mountain is seeking a motivated, hands-on Destruction Technician to join our team.In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate and secure processing and destruction of customer materials at the facility.
What You’ll Do :
In this role you will:
- Process and Secure Materials: Accurately sort, prepare, and destroy all customer materials delivered to the production facility using established procedures and maintaining strict security.
- Operate and Maintain Equipment: Safely operate production machinery such as Forklift and skid steer
- Ensure Compliance and Safety: Adhere to all organizational standards for safety and security, and perform all tasks with the utmost regard for physical safety and material security.
What You'll Bring :
The ideal candidate will have:
- 1+ year of experience in shredding, recycling, warehouse operations, or a similar production environment
- Mandatory Certification: Current and valid Forklift and Skid Steer Operator certifications.
- Proven ability to safely operate machinery and perform physical tasks without assistance, including lifting heavy bags and pushing/pulling rolling carts and containers, and working comfortably in a non-climate controlled industrial environment
