Job Description

As a Service Technician / Radar Technician, your mission involves documenting the entire repair process from fault analysis to recommissioning. You will independently handle internal work orders, analyze fault causes in electrical, electronic, and electromechanical systems, locate damage, select spare parts, and perform high-quality repairs. You will also be responsible for commissioning repaired equipment, conducting acceptances, creating protocols, and adjusting technical drawings, circuit diagrams, work documents, software, and firmware. Travel readiness is also required.
Must Have:
  • Completed training in electrical engineering, electronics, electromechanics, mechatronics, or a comparable technical field.
  • Proficiency in German, both written and spoken, for precise technical documentation and effective communication.
  • Proficiency in MS Office for efficient documentation and planning.
  • Analytical thinking to quickly identify fault causes and develop sustainable solutions.
  • Team player with constructive communication skills for continuous improvement.
  • Willingness to travel and work on-site with customers when required.

Your Mission

  • You document the entire repair process from fault analysis to recommissioning of the systems.
  • Your tasks also include receiving internal work orders and ensuring their independent processing.
  • Furthermore, you take care of the analysis of fault and malfunction causes in electrical, electronic, and electromechanical systems and assemblies.
  • You locate damage, determine the type and extent of damage repair, and select the appropriate spare parts from the warehouse.
  • In addition, you carry out repairs with the highest quality standards and recommission systems or devices after repair.
  • You perform acceptances – either independently or together with an acceptance officer – and create acceptance protocols for them.
  • Additionally, you create and correct technical drawings, circuit diagrams, and work documents, also IT-supported, and adapt software and firmware.
  • You are also willing to travel and ensure the timely completion of all tasks.
