Legal Counsel/Contract Manager

Within the Cyber Premium Services (CPS) Business Line, you will be integrated as a Legal Counsel within the Legal, Compliance and Contracts team of the BL and in charge of the Thales DIS Morocco and Thales Cyber Solutions SAS entities. You will also support the activities of this Business Line.

Position based in Rabat.

WHO ARE YOU?

• With a Bac+5 degree in business law and/or from a business school supplemented by a specialization in business law, do you have successful experiences of at least 3 years within international companies and ideally in the high-tech sector?
• Are you able to work in a very dynamic business environment with complex and varied interfaces in a matrix mode?
• Do you speak English fluently?
• Do you understand and master the challenges associated with compliance (anti-trust / anti-corruption / personal data) and are you familiar with the SaaS environment and issues related to personal data and intellectual property?
• Do you perfectly master IT tools as well as all types of data exchange platforms (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and is your English level fluent to interface with worldwide contacts?
• Committed, curious, and agile, are you attracted by activities based on extremely competitive, complexly structured, and constantly evolving businesses?

WHAT WE CAN ACCOMPLISH TOGETHER

Within the CPS Business Line and for Morocco (hereinafter the "Country"), you will hold the position of Legal Counsel (M/F) on a permanent contract in an environment associated with cybersecurity technologies. As a member of the CPS Legal and Contracts Department, the missions entrusted to you will be the following for the entities Thales DIS Morocco and Thales Cyber Solutions SAS:

• Define the contractual framework or participate in discussions / negotiations, clients, suppliers, partners, distributors, ensuring the consistency of the interests of the "CPS" activity (sale side and buy side agreements, licensing agreements, master services agreements, statements of work, RFP responses, SaaS agreements)
• Provide your legal positions by analyzing risks and opportunities in collaboration with other actors of the Business Line, France and Morocco to validate legal risks in particular.
• Provide support to Procurement for the definition of subcontracting contractual clauses, as well as eventual negotiation support.
• Also contribute to third-party evaluation procedures within the framework of Group Instructions aimed at preventing and detecting acts of corruption and influence peddling.
• Ensure Contract management for Thales DIS Morocco and for certain BL projects under watch list: Guarantee the sharing of the contractual repository and the monitoring of the achievements of our business with the project teams, at the right level of compliance (Contractual, Compliance, Ethics).
• Contribute to the analysis of contracts and procedures related to personal data protection (GDPR).
• Actively participate in increasing the added value of the function, notably by deploying the instructions, directives and templates implemented at the BL CPS level (MRBOA, check the box, consulting contract templates, SOC, integration) and participate in Morocco in the creation of manuals, directives and other tools to empower the relevant stakeholders within the organization.
• Participate in the analysis of new cybersecurity regulations impacting Thales DIS Morocco and Thales Cyber Solutions and help deploy guidelines and amendments for the Country to take into account the requirements of these new regulations.
• Manage business, at the right level of compliance (Contractual, Compliance, Ethics), pre-litigation or litigation procedures in coordination with the Litigation Department and the Legal Department.
• Contribute to eventual legal expertise.
