Job Description

The Assistant Site Manager is responsible for directing company programs and implementing company policy to ensure total compliance with contract duties. This role involves assisting in the coordination and direction of operations, including planning, supervision, budgeting, vendor and supplier contact, and customer relations. Key duties include developing work schedules, inspecting facilities, auditing inventory, maintaining financial records, ensuring a safe work environment, and complying with regulations. Some travel is required.
Must Have:
  • Direct company programs and implement company policy to ensure contract compliance.
  • Coordinate and direct operations, including planning, supervision, budgeting, and customer relations.
  • Maintain and report on financial aspects of the business, such as labor hours, supplies, and expenses.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (FLSA, OSHA, ADA).
  • Bachelor's degree or one to two years related experience and/or training.
  • Bilingual in Spanish.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Customer service, problem solving, time management, project management, and planning skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and computer skills.

Position at SBM Management

The Assistant Site Manager will be responsible for directing company programs and implementing company policy to ensure total compliance with contract duties between company and customer, by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate managers and/or supervisors. The individual will assist in the coordination and direction of operations necessary to carry out contractual responsibilities of the company, including all necessary planning, supervision, budgeting, vendor and supplier contact, customer relations and other high level managerial or supervisor responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and developing work schedules to ensure adequate service
  • Prepare schedules for service personnel, assigns personnel to routes
  • Inspect and evaluate physical condition of establishment for program compliance, i.e., safety, quality, and service
  • Audit and maintain inventories supply and equipment
  • Investigate new and promote improved equipment and methods
  • Review customer requests for service to ascertain cause for service request, type of malfunction, and address with manager
  • Assist site manager to implement organization policies and goals
  • Assist with analyzing and facilitating budget requests to identify areas in which reductions can be made
  • Assist in the promotion of services performed to develop new markets, increase share of market, and obtain competitive position in industry
  • Inspect plant and evaluates use of space and facilities
  • Assist with plans, budgets, and schedule modifications including cost estimates bid sheets and contracts
  • Assist with ensuring that site meets budget goals on a sustaining basis
  • Assist in the development of long-range plans, conceptual designs, and capital outlay requirements for program/process improvements
  • Coordinate program specifications, requirements for proposals and contracts, and associated documents
  • Compile data for preparing estimates
  • Maintain and report on financial part of business, such as labor hours, overhead, supplies, expenses, billing, forecasting and any changes to these areas
  • Maintain a safe work environment for self and employees
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, such as, FLSA, OSHA, ADA, etc.
  • Direct supervisory management engaged in support of facilities programs
  • Acts as liaison between company, customers, clients, employees, and subcontractors
  • Maintain contract and contractor status databases
  • Review all correspondence concerning contractors and responds as appropriate
  • Establish and maintain contact with contractors to ensure the smooth working of the contract process
  • Assist Site Manager to conduct and attend meetings to communicate top down and bottom up on a consistent real time basis, with customers, clients, and employees
  • Assist with human resource concerns and issues
  • Some travel will be required for this position

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • May be required to have a valid driver’s license.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Customer service, problem solving, time management, project management, planning, excellent communication, presentation, interviewing, coaching, and training skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Computer Skills
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, employees, and public
