Job Summary
Join us on the Vélizy campus, which hosts a wide variety of Thales activities. As a Software Engineer, you will work in an Agile team on critical systems, designing and developing JAVA software subsystems from specifications, performing unit tests, and producing client documentation. You will also participate in integration, validation, client support, and software architecture activities, potentially taking responsibility for functional blocks. You will contribute to the 'cloudification' of solutions by integrating new architectures and technologies, collaborating closely with the team to share knowledge and improve products.
Must Have
- Design and develop JAVA software subsystems from specifications
- Perform unit tests and produce client documentation
- Participate in integration, validation, client support, and software architecture activities
- Work within an Agile team on critical systems
- Hold a Bac+5 degree in general computer science
- Possess significant experience in JAVA software development in an industrial context
- Master software development processes (V-Cycle, Agile, Lean)
- Master configuration management and associated tools like REST, GIT, GitLab, CI/CD, and JIRA
- Capable of designing, developing, and testing software subsystems from functional specifications and interfaces
Good to Have
- GO development skills
- Experience with Kafka
- Experience with Kubernetes

Your profile:
You are a Bac+5 graduate in general computer science and have significant experience in JAVA software development in an industrial context. You are rigorous, autonomous, and enjoy teamwork while being able to collaborate effectively independently. You communicate clearly, synthesize information well, and are recognized for your reliability and ability to satisfy clients.
You master software development processes (V-Cycle, Agile, Lean) as well as configuration management and associated tools like REST, GIT, GitLab, CI/CD, and JIRA. Skills in GO development and experience with Kafka and Kubernetes would be a plus. You are capable of designing, developing, and testing software subsystems from functional specifications and interfaces.
