As a Developer Advocate/Instructional Designer on the Technical Content team, you’ll grow into a platform generalist who helps everyone speak a common technical language. You’ll bridge Product Engineering and our client base by translating deep platform concepts into clear, digestible training content for both developers and non-developer audiences. Your work accelerates onboarding, reduces confusion, and builds a dynamic user community around Beacon by CWAN.
Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain training content: Partner with Product Engineering SMEs to plan and develop learning content for new and improved platform features and workflows; create courses with videos, step-by-step tutorials, sample code, quizzes, demos, and outcome-oriented learning paths.
- User journey: Research the learner experience, identify weaknesses in the curriculum, and make improvements to existing content.
- LMS administration: Publish and organize courses and learning paths; track engagement/analytics; drive the integration of LMS into the CMS.
- Certification Program: Maintain and operate badge issuance; expand topic coverage and design new certification exams that validate user skills across our platform.
- User Advocacy: Gather feedback from clients and client-facing teams; translate insights into a prioritized content creation backlog.
- Workshops: Give internal/external talks about the product and support cross-team trainings.
Requirements:
- Software development knowledge in one or more general-purpose programming languages, including, but not limited to: Python, JavaScript, Ruby, Java, C++, or C#
- Some familiarity with version control and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong technical writing skills, with a keen eye for breaking down complex concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- Articulate 360 and Loom or OBS a plus
- Superb professional communication and presentation skills
- Attention to detail and good content design

Salary Range
$88,800.00 - $115,200.00
This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
