Siemens Financial Services IT is establishing a Tech Hub in India to enhance digital capabilities and drive innovation. This role involves designing and implementing Java-based applications, mentoring junior developers, conducting code reviews, optimizing performance, collaborating with stakeholders, and developing full-stack Java applications, integrating user-facing elements with server-side logic.

Good To Have:

Knowledge of Frontend technology (e.g., Angular, JSF/ JSP).
Work experience in the financial services industry.
Relevant certifications in Java, cloud platforms, Agile methodologies, or related technologies.

Must Have:

Design and implement Java-based applications.
Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
Optimize application performance and scalability.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
Develop full stack Java-based applications.
Work on front-end and back-end development activities.
Integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
At least 5 years experience developing with Java technologies (J EE, Spring, JPA, Dependency Injection).
Knowledge of SQL and databases (MS-SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
Strong verbal and written English communication skills (B2 level).
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions.
Interpersonal and teamworking skills; ability to work independently in agile teams.
Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
Knowledge of application servers (JBoss EAP, Spring Boot).
Knowledge of software architecture and design patterns.

Siemens Financial Services IT (SFS IT) is establishing a Tech Hub in India to enhance our digital capabilities and drive innovation. The Tech Hub will play a crucial role in supporting our global operations and ensuring business continuity. Hence we are looking to hire IT developers in India, to carry out development activities for critical IT applications used in SFS companies across the globe.

You’ll break new ground by:

Design and implementation of Java-based applications.
Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
Optimize application performance and scalability.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
Develop full stack Java-based applications.
Work on both front-end and back-end development activities.
Integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

You’re excited to build on your existing expertise, including:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or a Master of Technology (M.Tech).
At least 5 years working experience in developing applications using Java based technologies (e.g. J EE, Spring, JPA, Dependency Injection).
Knowledge of SQL and experience with databases (e.g. MS-SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL). Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are mandatory (at least B2 level). Analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to present ideas and share your knowledge with others.
Proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions.
Interpersonal and teamworking skills ability to work independently in a virtual agile team. Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
Knowledge of application servers (e.g. JBoss EAP, Spring Boot).
Knowledge of Frontend technology (e.g., Angular, JSF/ JSP).
Knowledge of software architecture and design patterns.
Work experience in the financial services industry is a plus.
Relevant certifications in Java, cloud platforms, Agile methodologies, or related technologies are a plus.
