Job Description

Full Circle is seeking an experienced Development Director to join the Skate team, focusing on shipping seasonal content for their live service game. This role involves leading a cross-disciplinary team, owning content strategy and schedule, collaborating with stakeholders, and fostering continuous improvement. The director will manage resources, facilitate Agile ceremonies, and champion a player-first, inclusive team culture, working in a hybrid model from Vancouver, Edmonton, or Montreal.
Must Have:
  • Lead and manage a cross-disciplinary team (designers, writers, software engineers, Quality Verification, production staff) with a focus on activities, cinematics, and presentation.
  • Own the Activities, Cinematics, and Presentation Seasonal Content Team's strategy and schedule, ensuring on-time delivery.
  • Collaborate with producers, product managers, and other stakeholders to drive ongoing seasonal content delivery.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement through post-mortems and data-driven iteration.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to seasonal content delivery.
  • Coordinate with partners and internal stakeholders for seamless content development and delivery.
  • Manage resource allocation, budgets, and team capacity to support seasonal content priorities.
  • Organize and facilitate Agile ceremonies (planning, scrum, sprint retrospectives).
  • Champion a player-first mindset and foster an inclusive, innovative, and growth-oriented team culture.
  • 5+ years of project management, production, or team leadership experience in game development.
  • At least 2 years focused on live game or live service game development.
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, resource management, and cross-functional team leadership.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
  • Experience engaging and motivating remote and hybrid teams in an evolving environment.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Data-driven with the ability to translate analytics and player feedback into actionable strategies.

We are looking for an experienced, motivated Development Director to join the Skate team, with a focus on shipping content.

You will report to the Lead Development Director for Seasonal Content and play a key role in delivering ongoing Seasonal Content for our live service game.

Location: Hybrid three days a week onsite the studio in Vancouver, Edmonton or Montreal.

Duration: 12 months

Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).

PAY RANGES

  • British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) *\$119,600 - \$167,300 CAD
