Job Summary

X-FLOW is seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join their product team, focusing on developing personalization, segmentation, and recommendation algorithms for their mobile application. This role involves working with large user data volumes, generating deep insights into user behavior, and building models that directly impact key product metrics. The Data Scientist will also support product teams with data-driven decision-making, including hypothesis generation, experiment analysis, and identifying growth opportunities, while developing and maintaining necessary data pipelines.

Job Description

X-FLOW is a mobile game development company established in 2018. We gained recognition after the release of Happy Color, the most popular digital coloring book and one of the most successful ad-driven mobile apps in the world. We take pride in our diverse and talented team and partners, spread across the UK, Cyprus, the Netherlands, and other regions worldwide.

We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist to join our product team and help develop personalization, segmentation, and recommendation algorithms in our mobile application. In this role, you will work with large volumes of user data, generate deep insights into user behavior, and build models that directly impact key product metrics.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and improve user segmentations, including behavioral and value-based.
  • Build and optimize recommendation systems.
  • Identify and formalize new behavioral signals to enhance recommendations and product decisions.
  • Support product teams with data-driven decision-making: hypothesis generation, experiment analysis, and identifying growth opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines required for models and analytics.
  • Present results and complex models in a clear, accessible way to non-technical teams.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in Data Science (preferably in mobile products).
  • Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL.
  • Hands-on experience with:

– user segmentation and clustering;

– recommendation systems (content-based, embeddings, ranking models, etc.);

– user behavior analysis.

  • Experience building ML models (classification, regression, time series).
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau is a plus).
  • Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team, with clear and concise communication of findings.
  • Native (or near-native) Russian language proficiency.
