Development Executive

The Development Executive at Bushiroad International Pte. Ltd. is responsible for scheduling and overseeing the development and production of card game products, liaising with Japanese companies, translating and localizing products from Japanese to English, and proofreading localized text and designs. This role requires excellent communication skills in both English and Japanese (JLPT N3 minimum), meticulous attention to detail, strong schedule management, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of games or anime is beneficial. The position may involve weekend/holiday work and overseas travel.

Must Have

• Schedule & oversee development/production

Good to Have

• Experience playing Bushiroad TCGs

• Schedule and oversee development and production of card game products
• Liaise with Japanese companies for development and production of card game products
• Translate and localize products from Japanese to English
• Proofread localized text and product designs

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in any field
• Excellent communication skills in English and Japanese, both written and oral, in order to liaise with Japanese speaking associates daily (Minimum JLPT N3 competency required)
• Meticulous and attentive to details
• Excellent at schedule management and multi-tasking
• Have some knowledge in games or anime
• Adept at working both independently and in a team
• Effective decision-making skills and strong problem-solving skills
• Sensitive to cultural and linguistic nuances
• Open to work on some weekends/public holidays for Company events
• Open to travel overseas for business trips when required

• Experience in playing Bushiroad’s trading card games (TCGs) will be a bonus
