This role involves working with the Accounts team to ensure accurate and timely month-end closing and financial reporting to Management. Key responsibilities include liaising with Japan HQ, assisting in financial analysis and consolidation, and preparing various journal entries for TCG and mobile games sales and costing. The executive will also maintain accounting records, prepare royalty/sales reports, and ensure compliance with tax changes for digital sales. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in accountancy or finance, strong English communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Good To Have:
Proficiency in Japanese (to liaise with Japanese-speaking associates)
Experience in similar industry or professional accounting firms
Hands-on experience with Oracle NetSuite system
Must Have:
Possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree / Post Graduate Diploma / Professional Degree in Accountancy or Finance, or be a qualified member of ACCA/ISCA/CPA.
Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral.
Well-versed in MS Office, especially in Microsoft Excel.

Review and discuss accounting treatment on new products / current procedures with Manager.
Assist in preparing and computing S45 withholding tax.
Liaise with internal stakeholders and perform monthly intercompany reconciliation.
Coordinate and liaise with auditor / tax agent / IRAS / any external parties whenever required.
Compute monthly average exchange rates for Accounts and other departments’ use.
Continuously review and improve internal control and workflow to enhance efficiency and compliance.
