Plan A Technologies is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain monitoring and observability solutions using ELK Stack or similar platforms. The role involves building effective logging, alerting, and diagnostic pipelines to ensure system reliability, scalability, and visibility. Candidates need strong expertise in infrastructure automation, log management, monitoring systems, CI/CD processes, and containerized environments. A minimum of 5 years of DevOps experience is required for this position.
Good To Have:
  • Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog
  • Exposure to AI/ML-based log analysis or anomaly detection
  • Knowledge of security monitoring, SIEM, or compliance logging practices
Must Have:
  • Design, deploy, and maintain log aggregation and monitoring solutions (ELK or equivalent)
  • Develop and optimize dashboards, metrics, and alerts for proactive system monitoring
  • Collaborate with development, support, and operations teams to analyze logs and identify root causes
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines, environment provisioning, and automation scripts
  • Integrate observability tools into infrastructure and application layers to enhance diagnostic capabilities
  • Ensure system reliability, scalability, and security through best practices and continuous improvement
  • Maintain and document monitoring standards, automation scripts, and system configurations
  • BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) for at least 5 years
  • Hands-on experience with ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) or equivalent observability platforms
  • Solid understanding of Linux-based systems administration and network fundamentals
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
  • Proficiency in infrastructure automation using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell)
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills

JOB OVERVIEW

Plan A Technologies is looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain monitoring and observability solutions using ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) or a similar platform. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring system reliability, scalability, and visibility by building effective logging, alerting, and diagnostic pipelines that help streamline support and operations.

This role requires strong expertise in infrastructure automation, log management, and monitoring systems, as well as a solid understanding of CI/CD processes and containerized environments.

Please note: you must have at least 5+ years of experience as a DevOps to be considered for this role.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

  • Design, deploy, and maintain log aggregation and monitoring solutions using ELK or equivalent technologies (e.g., OpenSearch, Splunk, Grafana Loki).
  • Develop and optimize dashboards, metrics, and alerts to support proactive system monitoring.
  • Collaborate with development, support, and operations teams to analyze logs and identify root causes of issues.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines, environment provisioning, and automation scripts.
  • Integrate observability tools into infrastructure and application layers to enhance diagnostic capabilities.
  • Ensure system reliability, scalability, and security through best practices and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain and document monitoring standards, automation scripts, and system configurations.

EXPERIENCE

  • BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or Site Reliability Engineer (SRE).
  • Hands-on experience with ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) or equivalent observability platforms.
  • Solid understanding of Linux-based systems administration and network fundamentals.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
  • Proficiency in infrastructure automation using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
