The Digital Sales Team Manager will lead a team of Digital Sales Representatives, focusing on achieving sales targets, ensuring customer satisfaction, and fostering professional development. Responsibilities include hiring, coaching, and motivating the team, exceeding quarterly sales goals, ensuring collaboration with Territory Sales, training on sales and product skills, building marketing campaigns for lead generation, reporting on team results, improving sales productivity, developing the team's sales skills, redesigning customer pathways, and fostering a positive work environment. This role involves a hybrid/remote work arrangement in the Barcelona office and requires fluency in English and German or a Nordic language.

Position Overview

Autodesk is looking for a dynamic Digital Sales Team Manager with a natural sales instincts and ethical values with technical skills to lead our office-based sales team of Digital Sales Representatives.

Your primary focus will be on leading your team to over-achieve sales targets, excel in customer satisfaction, and reach new heights of professional development.

We are looking for someone passionate about helping others grow their sales career, courageous and someone who thinks as a founder. You will report to the Senior Manager of Digital Sales and you will work hybrid/remote in the Barcelona office.

Responsibilities

  • Hire, coach and motivate a team of Digital Sales Representatives responsible for the Northern European region

  • Achieve and exceed quarterly targets of closed business and pipeline

  • Ensure the collaboration between Digital Sales Reps and Territory Sales is successful

  • Motivate individuals and team to exceed their sales goals through deal coaching, sales skills, product skills training and regular communication of results

  • Work with Marketing to build campaigns that ensure lead quality and quantity with proper closed-loop metric reporting

  • Report on team and individual results: pipeline, conversion rates, and billings accomplishment

  • Work with internal sales operations partners and identify and make recommendations for improvement in sales productivity

  • Develop your Reps into sales-ready professionals for the next step in their careers

  • Align with Marketing, Digital E-Commerce and Sales operations to re-design customer pathways and thereby grow territory numbers

  • Foster a purposeful environment where everyone can bring their authentic selves to work

Minimum Qualifications

  • Fluency in English and German or Nordic language is a must

  • 5+ years extensive and proven experience in sales in enterprise applications, with experience in over-achievement of quota expectations

  • 3+ years People management experience

  • Experience establishing communication and engagement with your team and customers.

  • Prior inside sales experience (ideally in technology sales)

  • Promote and improve your sales skills through on the job coaching, self-learning and as defined by Autodesk sales career progression framework

  • Be visionary and objective in your leadership approach
