Job Summary
Scripps Networks is seeking a visionary Director of Pricing, Planning & Inventory to drive strategic growth and operational excellence. This remote leadership role focuses on increasing operational efficiency and positioning networks for growth through sales planning and inventory processes. Key responsibilities include managing sales planning, maximizing inventory, approving proposals and rates, and leading a team of sales assistants and planners. Candidates should have 8-10 years of inventory and/or sales planning experience and strong leadership skills.
Must Have
- Drives the development and implementation of strategic sales planning
- Manages sales planning and maximizes inventory across all networks
- Approves sales proposals and planning rates for client/agency submission
- Manages re-expression of dollars, sell-off and cancellation options terms
- Approves distribution of ADU schedules
- Manages and prioritizes sales planers' workload and distributes work accordingly
- Manages a team of sales assistants and sales planners
- Recommends and implements new or improved processes and tools to enhance the planning process
- BA/BS degree preferred
- 8-10 years inventory and/or sales planning experience
Good to Have
- Demonstrated competency in strategic planning and process improvement
- Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
- Aptitude in decision making and problem solving
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, expedite, analyze, prioritize and work well interdepartmentally with all levels of management

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Drives the development and implementation of strategic sales planning
- Manages sales planning and maximizes inventory across all networks
