Job Summary

Retail within CME Group is the fastest growing client segment, and the U.S. Retail Sales team is at the forefront of steering its strategic trajectory with a keen focus on growth initiatives. This role will act in a customer-facing capacity charged with the mission of driving Retail growth and strategic alignment across brokerage partners and CME Group stakeholders. The Director excels in the art of crafting, fine-tuning, and delivering strategic Retail initiatives. These efforts are aimed at solving global business problems, enhancing CME Group's value proposition and global access for Retail traders, and ultimately amplifying CME Group's growth trajectory and drive awareness of CME Group's products and services by the retail brokerage segment and retail trading population.

Must Have

  • Drive sustained growth through new customer acquisition and increasing existing customer value
  • Expand awareness and understanding of CME Group futures and options in the retail brokerage segment
  • Integrate CME Group products into retail brokerage firms' offerings, marketing, and technology
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of futures, options, and derivatives
  • Engage with strategic leaders at partner firms to identify growth opportunities
  • 10+ years experience in financial services, derivatives, and retail brokerage strategy
  • Strong understanding of the retail markets ecosystem and clients
  • Ability to build international commercial and strategic partnerships
  • Experience communicating and presenting to Chief Executive stakeholders
  • Track record of managing and delivering multi-million dollar cross-functional initiatives
  • Experience operating across regulatory, compliance, and legal functions
  • Success in executing business development initiatives with external partners

Responsibilities

  • Work with key decision makers at targeted brokerage firms with a strong focus on driving sustained growth through the acquisition of new customers and increasing existing customer value
  • Drive expanded awareness and understanding of CME Group futures and options by retail brokerage segment
  • Work with internal and third-party stakeholders to integrate CME Group products into retail brokerage firms' product offerings, marketing and technology efforts
  • Offer in-depth knowledge and understanding of futures, options, and derivatives
  • Attend relevant industry expos, conferences and industry associations
  • Work with strategic leaders at partner firms to deepen industry knowledge, identify opportunities for growth

Skills / Requirements

  • 10+ years experience in financial services with a focus in derivatives and Retail brokerage strategy creation and execution
  • Strong understanding of the retail markets ecosystem and clients – individual traders, brokers, competitors, market structure
  • Critical thinker with an affinity to build International commercial and strategic partnerships
  • Experience communicating with and presenting to Chief Executive stakeholders
  • Proven track record of managing and delivering multi-million dollar cross-functional initiatives
  • Experience operating across regulatory, compliance, legal functions
  • Success in executing business development initiatives with external partners
  • Comfort operating and defining goals within ambiguity
