Job Description

The Director of Analytics and Regulatory Technology will lead strategic and operational efforts for analytics and regulatory tech departments. This role involves overseeing advanced analytics and machine learning model development to ensure regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will integrate data insights with regulatory technology to drive new product development, improve outcomes, and mitigate risks. Responsibilities include leading strategy, managing big data/GenAI/ML transformation projects, growing high-performing teams, overseeing predictive model deployment, ensuring regulatory compliance, implementing new technologies, and acting as a strategic liaison between leadership and technical teams.
Must have:
  • Lead analytics and regulatory technology strategies.
  • Manage transformation projects using big data, GenAI, and ML.
  • Grow a high-performing team.
  • Oversee design and deployment of predictive models.
  • Ensure compliance with evolving regulatory standards.
  • Implement new technologies for analytics and data security.
  • Act as a strategic liaison between executive leadership and technical teams.
  • 20 years experience in senior analytics or regulatory tech leadership.
  • Expertise in regulatory compliance and launching compliant innovations.
  • Advanced proficiency in analytics tools (SQL, Python, R, SAS) and AI/ML.
  • Proven background managing ALLL and FAS14 reporting.
  • Experience with multi-bureau data, capital analysis, credit risk, and loss forecasting.
  • Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Experience communicating effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Experience translating complex data insights into business strategies.

Job Details

The Director of Analytics and Regulatory Technology will lead the strategic and operational efforts of the analytics and regulatory technology departments. You will oversee the development of advanced analytics, machine learning models, and technological solutions to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. We are looking for someone who can integrate data insights with regulatory technology to lead new product development, enhance outcomes, and mitigate risks.

This is a remote position. You will report to the VP of Applied Fraud Research and Analytics.

You'll have opportunity to:

  • Lead the development of analytics and regulatory technology strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Manage transformation projects using big data, GenAI, and ML to enhance regulatory compliance and client success.
  • Grow a high-performing team of data scientists, analysts, and tech specialists, encouraging learning.
  • Oversee the design, deployment, and integration of predictive models and data-driven strategies across departments.
  • Ensure compliance with evolving regulatory standards through proactive collaboration with legal and compliance teams.
  • Implement new technologies to strengthen analytics capabilities and data security.
  • Be a strategic liaison between executive leadership and technical teams, managing communications and departmental budgets.
