Expectations

What we want to see:

• Experience in the game development industry (Mid/Hardcore) as a Head of Development;
• 6+ years of experience as a developer;
• Experience managing a team of at least 5 people;
• Experience working closely with a producer;
• Understanding of business priorities and constraints;
• Experience with technical roadmap and risk/schedule forecasting.

Additionally, it would be great if you have:

• Experience with ECS;
• Experience creating your own frameworks/technical solutions.

What you’ll be doing:

• Forecasting and planning roadmap for your area;
• Managing the team (ECS/dev. graphics/network/etc.);
• Hiring, managing, and firing;
• Reviewing others' work;
• Coordinating your department with the gameplay development department;
• Developing expertise in directions and merging experience;
• Building prototypes (game features/functionality) and evaluating ideas based on them;
• Analyzing results and building technical analytics;
• Formulating hypotheses and finding growth points in the technical state of the project;
• Compiling GENERAL documentation.
