Expectations

What we want to see:

• Deep understanding of ClickHouse: cluster architecture (nodes, shards, replicas, synchronization), columnar storage, batch inserts, working with large volumes of data, experience with ReplicatedMergeTree / Distributed tables, storage and performance optimization, data layering
• Excellent SQL skills: writing and optimizing queries, working with indexes, partitioning, join strategies
• Proficiency in Python for ETL/ELT, integrations, and automation
• Experience with Airflow: building DAGs, managing dependencies, monitoring pipelines
• Confident use of GitLab/GitHub for version control
• Experience working with Liquibase
• Setting up alerts and monitoring (e.g., Grafana)

Additionally, it would be great to have:

• Experience deploying simple microservices (Docker)
• Experience with hardware selection, asynchronous libraries, high-load storage systems, and DWH design

What you will be doing:

• Building data marts and data layers for analytics and marketing
• Automating and standardizing ETL processes across the company
• Optimizing DWH architecture and queries
• Integrating data from external sources
• Ensuring stable ClickHouse operations
• Collaborating with DevOps
