Overview
Your tasks
As Director Programmatic Supply, you will take strategic responsibility for our programmatic purchasing architecture – from Supply Path Optimization (SPO), to managing SSP partnerships, to coordinating overarching sell- and buy-side technologies. You will work closely with the Activation Units and Digital Investment, but you are responsible for the programmatic big picture: i.e., control, quality, transparency, and innovation along the entire supply chain.
Here you will take on the following tasks:
- Leadership and further development of a cross-functional team (Media, Data, Tech, Marketplace, Programmatic-Supply-Analytics) that is responsible for the entire DACH market
- Strategic leadership of the Programmatic Supply division with responsibility for the teams around Programmatic Inventory, Audience-Data & Supply-Analytics, AdTech, and Agency-Marketplace
- SPO strategy & implementation in cooperation with SSPs (e.g., Pubmatic, Xandr, Magnite)
- Management of transparency, quality, and investment goals (e.g., Viewability, Ads.txt, Seller.json, IVT)
- Close cooperation with the Performics platform to ensure technical and operational excellence in programmatic campaign implementation
- Technological bridge between AdServers, DSPs, and BI systems to create transparency regarding inventory quality and benchmarks as well as partner spends (e.g., integration into dashboards & BI systems)
Qualifications
We are looking for
- Several years of experience in Digital Investment / Programmatic Advertising with a focus on Supply, Tech, Inventory or Product Strategy
- Very good understanding of SSPs, AdServer architectures and the Programmatic Infrastructure as well as experience in the development and implementation of SPO strategies
- Experience in working with Marketplace teams and / or product development is an advantage
- Strategic thinking with strong operational implementation competence for the permanent further development of the area
- Proven leadership experience and the ability to inspire and develop teams
- Excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of customer and stakeholder requirements
- Experience in working with multidisciplinary teams and in managing complex projects
- Very good German and English language skills complete your profile
