The Data Solutions organization manages data infrastructure, platforms, metrics, algorithms, automations, and activations for AI agents. As a Director, TPM for Data Solutions, you will lead programs to ensure trusted data for decision-making, empower agents and automations with knowledge, and leverage data for actions. This role requires exceptional executive presence and engagement with C-suite stakeholders, focusing on transforming data into signals for the Agentic Enterprise.

Technical Program Managers (TPMs) play a critical role, leading large-scale, cross-functional initiatives within our Technology, Marketing & Products organizations. TPMs are responsible for programs from beginning to end, streamlining processes and fostering more effective communication. They work closely with executives and key company partners to drive critical programs and activities across the company.

The Data Solutions organization in Digital Enterprise Technology unites the core data teams managing our data infrastructure, platforms, metrics, algorithms, automations, and activations for AI agents and channel platforms. As a Director of Technical Program Manager for Data Solutions, you will drive and execute programs that will enable trusted data for decision-making, provide knowledge to empower agents and automations, and leverage data to drive actions and activations. Every piece of data is a signal to power the Agentic Enterprise, and this role is at the forefront of that transformation. This role calls for exceptional executive presence and experience engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, including at the C-suite level.

Your Impact

  • Lead programs by aligning across program scope, and release planning, as well as aligning one or more teams on vision, and business goals, crafting program structure, and securing cross-functional alignment.
  • Drive teams through the Software engineering experience using Agile and analytical and technical skills.
  • Drive Steering Committee meetings with key partners for each program to help make key decisions, remove obstacles, and address key program issues. Be the key driver to ensure business goals are met and drive the strategic vision of each program.
  • Develop strong partnerships with key functional team members to drive focus on business goals. Be a trusted partner for executive management to ensure program success.
  • Partner with cross-functional teammates to drive workgroup alignment meetings to address tactical release issues, dependencies, team status, production issues, metrics review, achievements, etc. (cross-functional - Product Owners, Marketing, Scrum Leads, UX, CX,).
  • Lead "program/feature" dependencies across multiple teams, scrum teams, functions, divisions, and partners.
  • Anticipate and remove obstacles with a sense of urgency that slow down or prevent project teams from delivering on project goals.
  • Provide monthly program reviews and updates at sprint reviews (deep dive into the current state of project goals, risks, and critical issues).
  • Create a collaborative environment that fosters creativity, innovation, and learning.
  • Be a catalyst within the organization, someone who can help advance our Technology, Marketing & Products org strategy globally and drive others in the organization to change.

Requirements

  • 10+ years (Director, TPM) of enterprise software/technical program or engineering management experience at an enterprise technology company.
  • 7+ years of conducting and leading SaaS product development programs; shown understanding of the SaaS business model and its product development lifecycle.
  • 3+ years of experience working with the platform.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a history of hands-on, detail orientation.
  • Deep experience with the software development lifecycle; ability to adjust and apply this knowledge in a dynamic environment using agile methodologies.
  • Ability to establish credibility and rapport with senior executives and team members.
  • Outstanding organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills conducive to driving consensus; able to work in a cross-functional, matrix management environment.
  • Experience with Portfolio Management.
  • Ability to master technical subjects and technologies relevant to the program (data science, data engineering, Data Cloud/Data 360, Tableau).
  • Strong organizational, project management, analysis, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Master Data Management

As the technical program management lead for our Master Data Management (MDM) transformation initiatives, you will work to drive data consistency, quality, and governance across the organization. Major initiatives include: next generation account hierarchy definition and structure, account mastering and enrichment in MDM, and MDM to Sales Cloud integration.

Sales Domain

As the technical program management lead for the Global Data & Systems Operations (GDSO) Dataset Transformation program, you will establish a single source of truth for our Sales datasets with clear ownership, enable near-real-time data flows into the unified data layer, and deliver real-time insights on Tableau for business-critical dashboards.

Data 360 and Tableau Customer Zero

As the technical program management lead for Data 360 and Tableau Customer Zero, you will be the main conduit between our internal technology teams responsible for implementing these products and platforms and the core product teams. You will partner with product teams to influence their roadmap with feedback, understand which product features are ready for release and how to roll them out in internal instances, and support the co-development model across 15+ internal teams.

For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $185,500 to $268,900.
