Job Summary
OceanaGold, a mid-tier gold and copper producer, is seeking a Dispatch Specialist for its full-time operations in Kasibu, Nueva Vizcaya, Philippines. This role involves implementing and integrating fleet tracking, production recording, and delay management systems into mine planning. The specialist will coach operators, coordinate shift activities, monitor task progression, and resolve operational conflicts in real-time. Key responsibilities include daily validation of dispatch data, ensuring correct equipment status, identifying discrepancies, and supporting performance reviews. The role also focuses on developing training materials and optimizing production flow and system performance.
Must Have
- Minimum 5 years in Mine Control, Dispatch, or Fleet Management Systems (Modular, MineStar, Pitram, etc.)
- Strong understanding of underground mining processes and communication systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and mine data systems
- Solid understanding in Control Room operations, dispatch principles, and underground mining workflows
- Hands-on experience with Fleet Management Systems and mine visualization tools
- Proficient in managing time models, delay codes, and data integrity standards for production reporting
- Knowledge in emergency response communication protocols, personnel tracking, and radio communication systems
- Ability to configure, operate, and maintain FMS software and hardware
- Skilled in analyzing dispatch and production data to identify bottlenecks and variances
- Strong communication skills across multiple channels (radio, phone, Teams, email)
- Proficient in preparing accurate shift summaries, performance metrics, and compliance reports
- Valid Professional Driver's license

Job Description
- Implements fleet tracking, production recording, and delay management systems
- Integrates dispatch data into mine planning and reporting systems
- Coaches operators and supervisors on system utilisation and accuracy
- Coordinates shift activities, ensuring equipment and personnel allocation aligns with production priorities
- Monitors task progression and resolve operational conflicts in real-time
- Conducts daily validation of dispatch data and cycle times
- Ensures correct equipment and location status throughout the shift
- Identifies discrepancies and communicates corrections to supervisors
- Supports monthly performance reviews using accurate dispatch data
- Delivers training across Control Room Modules and Dispatch standards
- Develops training materials, competency assessments, and records
- Reviews fleet utilisation and downtime data to identify improvement areas
- Develops initiatives to optimise production flow and system performance
Qualifications

- Diploma or Certificate in Mining, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years in Mine Control, Dispatch, or Fleet Management Systems (Modular, MineStar, Pitram, etc.)
- Strong understanding of underground mining processes and communication systems
- Proven training and coaching experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and mine data systems
- Solid understanding in Control Room operations, dispatch principles, and underground mining workflows (production, development, services)
- Hands-on experience with Fleet Management Systems (e.g., Modular, MineStar, Pitram) and mine visualization tools (e.g., Connected Mine Platform)
- Proficient in managing time models, delay codes, and data integrity standards for production reporting
- Knowledge in emergency response communication protocols, personnel tracking, and radio communication systems
- Experience in applying continuous improvement methodologies and performance reporting tools used across mining operations
- Ability to configure, operate, and maintain Fleet Management System (FMS) software and hardware to maximize fleet utilization and enhance production visibility
- Skilled in analyzing dispatch and production data to identify bottlenecks, variances, and opportunities for operational improvement
- Experience in developing and delivering training programs aligned with control room modules and dispatch workflows to ensure consistent operational standards
- Strong communication skills across multiple channels (radio, phone, Teams, email), especially in high-pressure or time-sensitive situations
- Proficient in preparing accurate shift summaries, performance metrics, and compliance reports tailored for both operational teams and management stakeholders
- Ability to coordinate with various departments to implement system enhancements and standardize dispatch practices across the site
- Ability to maintain real-time awareness of personnel and equipment across all active underground mining areas throughout the shift
- Skilled in influencing the adoption of new systems and standards while coaching operators to build capability and confidence
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks and make sound decisions in dynamic or emergent situations that may impact production or safety
- High level of discipline in data capture, reporting, and compliance documentation to support operational integrity
- Experience working closely with Mine Operations, Maintenance, Technical Services, and Business Improvement teams to optimize task flow and fleet performance
- With a valid Professional Driver's license
