Senior Contracts Specialist

Strategy (Nasdaq: MSTR) is a market leader in enterprise analytics and mobility software, pioneering BI and analytics. The company is also leading a shift in treasury reserve strategy by adopting Bitcoin as a key asset, outperforming the S&P 500. They seek a Senior Contracts Specialist to independently negotiate commercial contracts, focusing on software, cloud, and services agreements. The role involves collaborating with internal stakeholders, resolving issues, managing business risks, and supporting general corporate legal matters. The specialist will contribute to process improvement and policy development within a dynamic, innovative environment.

Must Have

• Independently negotiate commercial contracts (software, cloud, services)
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to close deals
• Represent company and customer/vendor interests, resolve issues, manage risks
• Support general corporate legal matters (governance, regulatory, compliance)
• Utilize sound judgment for contractual issues, contribute to process improvement
• Bachelor’s degree in law
• Fluency in German and English (oral and written)
• Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
• Experience in transactional work, legal matters, process optimization, technology
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Proactive self-starter with strong project ownership
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Available to work from the Warsaw office at least 3 days a week

Your Responsibilities:

• Independently negotiate commercial contracts, with a focus on software, cloud, and services agreements. You will closely collaborate with internal stakeholders to efficiently bring deals to successful closure.
• Skillfully represent both company and customer/vendor interests, leveraging your autonomy to resolve issues swiftly while managing business risks effectively.
• Support the team in general corporate legal matters, including corporate governance, regulatory requirements, and compliance.
• Utilize sound judgement and a wide range of information to address contractual issues, actively contributing to project and process improvement initiatives as well as the development of policies and procedures.

Your Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S. or equivalent) in law is required.
• Fluency in both German and English (oral and written) is essential; proficiency in additional European languages is a plus.
• Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Experience and enthusiasm for transactional work, related legal matters, process optimization, and technology in general.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and deliver value across multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proactive self-starter with strong project ownership who enjoys working across departments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
